What is Lean? Lean is a systematic approach to identifying and eliminating waste through continuous improvement by flowing the product or services supplied by the VMS at the pull of our customer in the pursuit of perfection. This philosophy is designed to bring about rapid, planned, controlled and measured step-change improvements to the performance of an our organization through an overhaul of the value stream.

At Visual Marking Systems, we continually embrace the principles of Lean and are constantly integrating them into our culture.

VMS is a certified ISO 9001:2000 manufacturing facility. This places VMS in an elite group of manufacturers achieving world-class quality by meeting the ISO 9001:2000 requirements.


UL/CSA

UL/CSA

VMS designs and manufactures visual markings in accordance with the UL Recognized and CSA Certified labels as specified by our customers. Although the standards that apply to different types of products may vary, the goal of all safety standards is basically the same - to help reduce hazards when a product is used properly.
