Quality Assurance Practices

In 1998 VMS embarked on a journey that involved becoming ISO 9000 certified forever changing the way we do business and solidifying us as one of the first companies in the printing industry to do so. During that time, the debate to become certified was, "Is this a quality improvement program, or a marketing tool for future business?" The answer was yes and yes. In a recent Smart Business Magazine article, VMS CEO, Dolf Kahle talks about how VMS became ISO certified and the impact it had on the company.

Dolf Kahle is the Chief Executive Officer of Visual Marking Systems, with over 40 years of experience in the printing and custom graphics industry. With a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, he has a strong background in combining technical knowledge with strategic leadership. Dolf has served as Chairman of the SGIA Leadership Conference and has held board positions with the National Association of Graphic and Product Identification Manufacturers and the Digital Graphics Group International, reflecting his active role in shaping the future of the print industry. Under his leadership, VMS continues to evolve its capabilities to meet the changing needs of customers across a range of markets.
